The privacy of the people who visit this site, request information or contact Zoraida Zapata matters to us. Every project begins with a conversation, and that conversation deserves the same clarity we apply to design.

This document explains what information may be collected when you use the site or any of our contact channels, for what purpose it is used, with whom it may be shared when necessary, and what rights you may exercise at any time as the owner of your personal data.

01

03

We obtain your personal data directly, when you choose to share it with us through one of the following means:

  • The contact and project request form on this website.
  • Conversations initiated via WhatsApp or by phone call.
  • Email.

We may also collect data indirectly when someone refers you to us or when a third party authorized by you shares your contact information with us to handle a request.

04

Primary purposes of processing

We use your personal data for the following purposes, necessary to attend to the relationship arising from your request:

  • Invite you to events or presentations related to our professional activity.

These purposes are not necessary to attend to your request. If you prefer that we do not use your data for them, simply let us know in writing at the privacy contact email; your refusal will not affect the handling of your inquiry or the provision of services.

06

Contact and project request form

The site includes a short form, made up of approximately seven or eight questions, designed to clearly understand what you need before an initial conversation.

Fields marked as required are the minimum necessary for us to respond to you. The remaining information is optional and at your discretion: the more context you share, the more precise our initial response can be.

Please do not include in the form any sensitive information, third-party confidential data, or data that is not necessary to attend to your request.

07

Contact via WhatsApp

This site includes links that open a conversation with us on WhatsApp. When you write to us through that channel, we may see your phone number, your profile name or alias, and the content of the messages, files or images you choose to send us.

We use that information exclusively to attend to your inquiry and follow up on your project. WhatsApp is a service operated by a third party, with its own terms and privacy policies, over which we have no control; we recommend that you review them.

If you prefer not to use WhatsApp, you can contact us by email or through the site's form.

08

Cookies and similar technologies

This site may use cookies and equivalent technologies, such as local browser storage, for strictly technical purposes: allowing the site to function correctly and remembering display preferences, such as the appearance mode you choose.

Should measurement or analytics tools requiring the use of additional cookies be incorporated in the future, we will update this notice and, where regulations require it, your consent will be requested.

You can disable or delete cookies through your browser settings. Some site features, such as remembering your preferences, may stop working.

09

Third-party services and providers

To operate the site and communicate with you, we use services provided by third parties, such as web hosting and infrastructure providers, email services and messaging platforms.

These providers process information only to the extent necessary to render their service and under their own privacy policies. We do not sell, trade or exchange your personal data with third parties for advertising purposes.

When a project requires the collaboration of outside professionals or suppliers — for example workshops, manufacturers or contractors — we will share only the information indispensable for its execution and, when necessary, with your knowledge.

10

Transfers of personal data

We do not carry out transfers of personal data that require your consent, except those provided for by applicable law, including:

  • When necessary to comply with a legal obligation or a requirement from a competent authority.
  • When indispensable to fulfill a legal relationship entered into with you.
  • When made to legal, accounting or tax advisors under a duty of confidentiality.

The technology providers that render services to us may host information on servers located outside Mexico; in such cases they act as data processors, following our instructions.

11

Retention and security of information

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this notice and, thereafter, for the periods required by applicable legal obligations. When no longer necessary, it is deleted or securely blocked.

We apply reasonable administrative, technical and physical security measures to protect information against loss, misuse, alteration or unauthorized access, including restricted access to information and encrypted communication on the site.

No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely infallible; for that reason we ask that you share only the information necessary to attend to your request.

12

ARCO rights (access, rectification, cancellation and objection)

As the data subject, you have the right to know what information we hold about you and for what purposes we use it, as well as to:

  • Access your personal data and the conditions of its processing.
  • Rectify it when it is inaccurate, incomplete or outdated.
  • Cancel it when you consider that it is not required for any of the purposes indicated.
  • Object to the use of your data for specific purposes.

To exercise any of these rights you may send your request to [PRIVACY EMAIL ADDRESS], indicating your name, a means to communicate the response to you, a clear description of what you are requesting, and the documents evidencing your identity or the corresponding legal representation.

We will respond within the periods established by applicable law. Exercising these rights is free of charge, except for justified shipping or reproduction costs contemplated by law.

13

Revocation of consent

You may revoke, at any time, the consent you have granted for the processing of your personal data by sending your request to the privacy email address indicated in this notice.

In some cases revocation may not take effect immediately, or it may not be possible to terminate processing early, when a legal obligation or an ongoing contractual relationship requires it. We will clearly inform you if that situation applies to your request.

14

Limiting use or disclosure

If you wish to limit the use or disclosure of your personal data — for example, to stop receiving informational communications — you may request it in writing at the privacy email address, and we will attend to your request without this affecting the handling of your inquiry or project.

You may also ask us at any time to stop contacting you through a specific channel, such as WhatsApp or phone, and let us know your preferred means of contact.

15

Materials you voluntarily provide about your project

To evaluate a project, it is common for interested parties to share photographs of the space, floor plans, measurements, visual references, prior quotations or other documents. These materials are sent voluntarily and are treated confidentially.

We use them only to analyze the space, understand your needs and prepare the corresponding proposal. They are retained for as long as necessary for those purposes and are not disseminated or published without your authorization.

By sharing them, you represent that you have the authority to do so. If any material includes personal data of third parties or copyright-protected information, make sure you have the necessary authorization before sending it.

Any subsequent dissemination of images of your project, for portfolio or editorial purposes, will be carried out only with your prior consent.

16

Information about minors

This site and the services described herein are aimed at adults. We do not intentionally request or collect personal data of children or adolescents.

If we discover that we have received information from a minor without the intervention of the person exercising parental authority or guardianship, we will delete it. If you believe this has occurred, please write to us at the privacy email address so we can address it immediately.

17

Changes to this privacy policy

This notice may be updated to reflect changes in our services, in the site's tools, or in applicable legislation.

Any modification will be published on this same page, together with the date of the last update, so we suggest you review it periodically. When changes are substantial and the law so requires, we will communicate them through the contact channels you have provided us.

18

Contact for privacy-related matters

If you have questions about this notice, about the processing of your personal data, or wish to exercise your rights, you may write to us at [PRIVACY EMAIL ADDRESS] or at [ADDRESS FOR PRIVACY MATTERS].

We will attend to your request as clearly as possible. If you believe that your right to the protection of personal data has been violated, you may approach the competent authority for personal data protection matters in Mexico (Instituto Nacional de Transparencia, Acceso a la Información y Protección de Datos Personales, INAI, or its successor authority).
